Experience

Experience

- Second-chaired a trial on behalf of a national insurance company that denied Plaintiff's claim for PIP benefits. Plaintiff claimed over $200,000 in damages and after fifteen minutes of deliberation, the jury awarded $0 and rendered a special verdict of fraud against Plaintiff, finding that the claim was in some respect so fraudulent and/or excessive as to have no reasonable foundation, entitling the client to attorney fees under MCL 500.3148.

- Has handled multiple claims on behalf of a MAIPF-assigned insurer that were dismissed on summary disposition due to material fraudulent misrepresentations.
