Ahmed Hassouna leads the Alternative Dispute Resolution team, including facilitative mediation and arbitration, after spending more than a decade as in-house trial counsel with two Fortune 500 national insurance companies.
Overview
As lead counsel, Ahmed independently managed all phases of litigation from pre-suit through resolution, including discovery, dispositive motions, case evaluation, facilitation, arbitration, trial preparation and trial.
His experience as a litigator spans a wide array of practice areas, including personal injury, No-Fault, automobile negligence, premises and commercial liability, dog bite, medical malpractice, toxic tort and subrogation matters.
He is an approved and appointed Case Evaluation panelist for Macomb, Oakland and Wayne County Circuit Courts.
Ahmed began his career as a Law Clerk for the 46th Circuit Trial Court serving Crawford, Kalkaska and Otsego Counties. There, he clerked for The Honorable Alton T. Davis, now Justice Emeritus of the Michigan Supreme Court.
