Overview
Benjamin Wyss began his legal career as a litigation attorney representing insurers, corporations, and individuals in a variety of general liability defense matters before shifting his practice to Employee Benefits Law. Ben now focuses on representing Taft-Hartley multiemployer fringe benefit funds including health and welfare funds; defined benefit pension funds; defined contribution pension funds; 401(k) funds; and other ancillary fringe benefit funds.
Before joining Novara, Ben worked for a national insurance company adjudicating benefit claims appeals and grievances. He served as a judicial staff attorney to The Honorable Judge Hala Jarbou in Oakland County, before she was appointed to the Federal bench. He also served as judicial law clerk to The Honorable Judge John Murphy in Wayne County.
