Novara Law Wins First-Party PIP Trial 

Novara Law congratulates Senior Partner Marc McDonald and Partner Randi Davis on their First-Party PIP trial win for an insurance client in Oakland County Circuit Court. This is the 17th consecutive trial win for McDonald, co-chair of the firm’s Insurance Defense Group. 

The suit involved a claim for over $600,000 in benefits, including three spinal surgeries. Novara lawyers found evidence of alleged fraud and argued that the surgeries were done for a separate tort claim. After four hours of deliberation, the jury returned with a No-Cause verdict finding “no injury.”
