Novara Law Secures Third Trial Win in Two Months

Novara Law announces that its Insurance Defense team secured another trial win and no-cause verdict, the third in two months. 

Partner Timothy Kubik successfully defended a client accused of negligently striking a pedestrian with his pickup truck. 

At trial, Kubik argued that plaintiff’s version of events could not be true, based on the timing and duration of the traffic lights at the intersection. He also argued that Plaintiff was primarily at fault for failing to use proper caution in crossing the street, given that the accident occurred in the evening, the intersection was poorly lit, and plaintiff was wearing dark clothes.  

The jury ultimately agreed and rendered a verdict of no-cause of action in favor of the firm’s client.
