Novara Law Obtains Second No-Cause Verdict in a Month

Novara Law congratulates Senior Partner Marc McDonald and Principal Nadine Hammoud on their First-Party PIP trial win in Wayne County Circuit Court. This is the second No-Cause verdict in a month for the insurance defense team.

The plaintiff and two providers demanded over $1 Million in medical expenses after dismissing claims for replacement services, attendant care, and wage loss prior to trial. 

At trial, the Novara Law team exposed potential solicitation, fraud, and inconsistencies with plaintiff’s testimony. 

Despite undergoing two surgeries, the jury ultimately agreed that the plaintiff did not sustain any injury in the accident, resulting in a no-cause verdict.
