Court of Appeals Affirms Trial Court’s Ruling on Insurance Coverage Issue

Novara Law Partner Kaitlyn Cramer recently was successful in front of the Michigan Court of Appeals. The Court affirmed the trial court’s ruling granting summary disposition for an insurance client. 

The Court agreed with Cramer’s argument that, even if Plaintiff did not intend to misrepresent his garaging addresses, rescission was still proper. The Court also agreed that Plaintiff cannot argue ambiguity without pointing out actual conflicting terms in policy.
